PMR-446 Simplex Repeater In Tampere, Finland

There is a new PMR-446 simplex repeater in Tampere, Finland on channel 5.00. QTH is KP11UM57 at this time and the repeater is on my living room table beside the window in my 4th floor apartment in Lentävänniemi neighbourhood. The TRX is TTI TX-446 in original condition and the controller is ATX-2000. In the very near future I hope the repeater should be re-located to more suitable QTH in Tampere. While visiting Finland and Tampere (e.g. Pyynikki observation tower cafe, Särkänniemi resort or Näsinneula observation tower) you can test the repeater. I could open it from inside my car at the crossroads of the Soukanlahdenkatu and Kekkosentie, as the signal path was mostly low loss lake Näsijärvi. I used vertex Standard VX-351PMR walkie talkie in original condition. As the QTH is going to be changed as well as the operating channel (due to local QRM in new QTH) the repeater should however be up and running from now on

Future plans include adding papagoi units in some other towns too. And these new repeaters should be up and running next summer.
